My brother and I rate movies by the time we prefer to watch it. Haha it's funny how my brother and I get along so well. But here I shall explain. Migi and I watch the best movies at 10pm. It's like a movie rated with 5 stars or something. The tv show "Lost" is watched at 10pm. Hmm... Another example, the comedy "The Longest Yard" is watched at 4pm. It's an okay movie, made us laugh, but it's just the kind that you watch before dinner. Haha. Okay so that counts as weird right?

2. This is my way to Ateneo when there's no car or when I just feel like saving gas. This afternoon, there was a CAR waiting nearby. That was funny.

Today was fun because I hungout with my friends who will continue to be there as I crossover this one great bakod called transitional summer... or even college. Haha. A-boys at Shakey's with Ollie right in front of me (WELCOME BACK) was a pretty good scene. It was so nice to be around old friends.

Plus, I even saw Mai. :-)

Then at Moro, saw Gel and then Maggie and Mariana. We weren't complete but it was "bukeki therapy" still. We watched M:I-3 which became Mission Possible for us because we'd been wanting to go out for so long. Hehe finaallly we got to. It was soooo fun. Thanks Pat, Luis, Hershey and Marc (sorry na! That's what's written on the back of our training shirts. And yes, for the love of the game, we hustled and hustled. We tried to slide even though it looked like no slides at all. Even though we were already beaten up by our weaknesses, we played on. Today was fun because it's been quite long that I played in an AFC festival for fun, usually I play on a competitive mindset. Then again it's just like how "happiness isn't the destination but the journey" thing: if I'm too preoccupied trying to make it a fun summer, I'll end up not having fun at all.

The first week of LnK was fun. I gotta say, it's good to be back. I miss a lot of students though because there are more new students than old ones. I guess that works well for me because they don't know anything about two summers ago (whahahah).

It's my first time to teach English this summer. First day of English class, I made it clear to my students that we'll try to speak in English since it is that kind of class. Then one student goes, "Eh Ate Mich! Pinoy naman kami eh! Bakit pa kailangan mag-English?" Kulit! Haha. But it's okay. Funny how what I learned in Fourth Year just naturally flows out. Thank you, Mrs. Eala!

I enjoy teaching English knowing there's just so much to give. So guess what? I make my students write Passports, too! They haven't gotten the hang of it yet. Right now, the students have to submit their Passports (Just a quickie: In fourth year, we were asked to write about anything on a 4x6 index card. Our teacher called it passports because if we didn't have ours, we would be sent out of class for the whole week) every Wednesday. But now I'm thinking of making it everyday so that the students get to practice their English.

Oh, I also made the students introduce themselves on the first day. Yet again, I got the idea from my English teachers: drawing out an object from a bag and comparing oneself to that object. Yikes. My students range from 14-15 years old and it disturbed me that they didn't know how to say simple sentences. I don't know, maybe it's public speaking that's the problem? Basta, I teach II-6, the last section in second year. That means my students scored the lowest in the English Entrance Test. I was deeply touched when one student said he wants to be in section 1 next year. I promised them that I will do everything I can to help them reach their goals.

[I teach English with Art (short for Arthur). Heheh.]

I enjoy teaching Math class because Geometry is fun. Yes, I teach III-4 (aww my section in Third Year!), and yes that means my students are in the fourth bracket in the Math Entrance test. They're only six so the class is easy to handle. I teach with my friends VJ and Eric... (haha kaya minsan nagiging eight students! Just Kidding)

Hay. Thank you sir Jhun. :-) It's really this time of the year that one lets go of the "hinanakits" in class. And a teacher really draws strength from her or his students.

Lunchouts... KFC is being rennovated so that's minus one for us! So these days, we hang out at McDo, SR, Wok Dis Wei, orrrrr Sa Bahay Ni Lola (Issa, Migs and Nandi Abrillo's lola's house near Shell). Loves it. Then sometimes a basketball game is scheduled: Northfield against the World (UP, Ateneo, DLSU, UST). NorthField kasi pinakamaraming tutors this summer from Northfield! Haha.

Migi and Rapao checking Entrance Tests

The Ochoas... haha and Mia Santos

Of Dare or Dare, S to the 4th Power, and Sibolistas everywhere

My last week turned out to be more fun than expected. While they were out, I went biking around the village with Archie, batch'04. whahahah. At around dinner time my little sister messaged Marc using my phone telling him how much she's missed "her best friend." We both were surprised by his and Luis' visit! Buti nalang naman because they were around the area (in ateneo to get their report cards)

Batches '08 and '06 finally arrived at around 8:40pm from Gateway. They popped "Rent" into the DVD player; some watched attentively and even sang along while some started playing basketball halfway through the movie. Mmhmm, two even went out to visit mmhhmmm. Haha. Funny. Enzo, Julian, Gian and I were in the den playing Pusoy Dos. Whoever lost would be dared. We had so many crazy dares! And the secrets were promised to stay within the six walls of the place (six sides daw kasi nandun si Gian).

My dares were to give a glass of water to _____, and I gave it to Kim B; to feed ______ with chips, and I did that to Arjay; to kiss the hand of the person whom ______ and I did that to Dav; to put a Band-Aid to the one who _____ and I put it on Vince. Haha the other dares were funnier and wackier though! But what really rocked were the meanings behind the dares. Mmhmm. =p Dare and Dare went on til around 2am, and that was when the other boys ended their basketball game outside. They started taking a shower in the glass bathroom (naunahan pa akong maligo doon!).

While the guys waited for their turn, we played Truth or Truth, which later on just turned into sharing. :p At around 4 or 5am, we were still by the pond, haha nahulog na slippers ko sa pond at lahat lahat. By this time, Enzo was really BANGAG! All he could say were fantasies. Hahaha. Funny. We ate bread t 6am - we sorta saw the sun rise from where we were - and then I went up to my room to sleep.

I woke up at 8am, just in time to see the some of the guys leave. It was a great night! :-) revelatioooon! I went back to sleep an hour later and woke up at around 1pm. Haven't done that in a while haha. Kukay arrived and I gave her the cam case. A little later, Justin passed by with Archie to get our Ball pictures. (Possessive ang bukeki. Haha don't worry, I'm a loyalist... as I told him. Haha!)

Wednesday - I went with LnK friends to McDo. It was Mia's biiiirthdaaay! Haha. Then the sibolistas were there rin for Homer's despedida. So I hungout with them again.

Thursday - Gateway with Mirei, Julian, and Vincent. Hehe. Woohoo LRT. We watched Basic Instinct 2. R18. Funny. Popcorn.

Sibol week sort of continued last Tuesday when I hungout with my brother's batch when they hungout with Homer for the last time. Mik went to McDo and then he brought us to his house. Aww and we met his new dog! he then brought me, PJ and Migi to our house where they played basketball -- oh but Mik and I bonded! Haha.

Then at around 7:30, Carlo, Marts and Ian picked me up already for our dinnaaahh. Just one thing: "mainit at matagal lutuin ang bacon sa Heaven."... and eggs. Haha.

Of the same wavelength, Spain, and three Janys

Happy Birthday to one of them: Corinne Grooooves! Grovey, everyone here misses you! Kim, Paolo and I miss you! Mayged. I love you very much!

It's going to be a week since I went to Co's house to see her before she left for mother Spain. It felt good doing something like that, after years of Co's doing it for me. I loved it just being in her room and just telling each other stories. I interrupted her packing. Around 20 minutes later, Kim came! Woohoo. And it felt that we were complete.

We were all in Co's bed. They'd tease and update each other with whatever stories they had to tell, which really just made me smile inside. I stare at and listen to them and wander off in my mind about the three of us five years ago. Boy we were close. Though I felt as if I was someone invisible during those moments (in a good way), like how someone time-travels in a machine in the movies where she or he isn't seen. There's a flash of film of the what-if images... like what if I was also in 7-3 or II-2? Maybe I wouldn't have missed as much. Then again, hey. Snap. We're still here for each other now.

As Kim said earlier on when we were texting, "we're okay now diba?" And I said, "actually it's almost like how it used to be. Konti nalang." And guess what? She agreed. :-)

Co - Kim and I were supposed to celebrate together! Hay. Know that we're celebrating! All of us are.
